Four Squire Business Services is looking for a talented Software Developer Engineer in Test to join our innovative team. This position is focused on collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement sophisticated software testing solutions that enhance user experience and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Job Description
As a Software Developer Engineer in Test at Four Squire Business Services, you will work closely with our Product team, UX designers, software engineers, and QA members. Your role will involve elaborating product requirements, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring software quality through effective testing practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to gather testing requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
- Design and implement testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to support quality assurance.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in testing and quality engineering.
- Conduct performance, security, and load testing to identify potential bottlenecks and ensure robustness of applications.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test suites for comprehensive coverage of functionalities.
- Analyze test results and log defects in tracking tools such as JIRA or similar.
- Collaborate with software engineers to resolve defects and improve overall software quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in software development and testing, with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
